Summer School in Lausanne - Lakeside Campus, Switzerland
Every year, during the month of July and August, more than 150 students enrol for the Lakeside Campus summer course, as the international and francophone environment favours the learning of both French and English.
A varied and dynamic programme of activities encourage them to put their new knowledge of the language into practice while living some unforgettable moments!
The courses
The Lakeside Campus offers an intensive English and French course with the possibility of combining both languages. The French or English course is intensive in the morning and afternoon. When the course is combined, the morning course is dedicated to learning one of the languages and the afternoon is to improve on previously acquired knowledge of the second language. Together with the application of the four basic skills below, qualified and enthusiastic teachers help students to progress easily in comprehension and in communication :
1. Speaking
2. Writing
3. Listening
4. Writing
The programme of every class is adapted to the level of the student, which is evaluated beforehand. Students receive an attendance certificate at the end of the course.
The activities
Recreational activities are organised every day for our boarding students, as well as excursions in the week-ends. Day students can take part in afternoon activities as well as weekend excursions. Further information will be given to each student on arrival.

The starting dates for the beginners are for a minimum duration of two weeks.

The boarding house
The Lakeside Campus provides a boarding house where students are admitted from 15 years old in a warm and friendly atmosphere. For more information, please visit the Boarding house section.
